Is YJSP a good fit for me?

We thrive when we put our minds together and work as a team. We learn together and teach each other, so no prior experience is necessary. If you’re passionate about space exploration and rocket science, then YJSP will welcome you.

What will I get out of YJSP?

YJSP is a snapshot of the real-world aerospace industry. This is where you get to apply all the theory you learn in classes. Through hands-on projects and mentorship, we'll help you gain competence and confidence in your skills. Along the way, you’ll also learn how to communicate effectively with a large team, produce high quality work and meet a schedule. Finally, you'll bond with an incredible community of students who will push you to be the best you can be.

As a member, what would be expected of me?

Remember that passion for rockets that was mentioned earlier? That’s all we expect from you. Attendance in meetings and work sessions isn’t mandatory, of course, but it takes effort from a lot of dedicated people to make these rockets fly. To get the most out of YJSP, we recommend a time commitment of at least 5 hours per week.
